The Doron Velta's corner blocks use a lot of material without contributing much to the frame's rigidity. This modification splits the blocks into a façade part, which you can print with a pretty material, and a structural part, which you can print with a different, potentially stiffer material. This also has the effect of hiding the two M3 BHCS in the original design.
For each corner block, it adds two M5x16 BHCS to anchor the 2040 extrusions (you will need to tap the extrusion with an M5 tap) and two M3x20 SHCS and t-nuts to anchor the vertical extrusion. The façade is attached with two M3 heat-set inserts and M3x8 screws.
