A replacement filter system for the AquaClear 200 tank filter.
Update: 27Sep2026 - New V.2 filter carriage wall and bottom. The originals had very thin tab retainers at the bottom which were prone to breaking. The new V.2 version strengthens these and adds a stress relief slot to the wall to make assembly easier. The V.2 walls will work with the original bottom but I've shifted the tab slots a bit to improve fit on the V.2 bottom.
The filter carriage is a replacement for the original. It is made up of three sections that snap together. A base and two copies of the sidewall.
The box allows use of bulk charcoal and bio. I printed one box in black and another in white (see photos) along with the slide in box end door. Included is also a funnel you can use to load the boxes. Two version of the box, one with small hex holes, another with slots. Either box will take quite a while to print due to all the head movement printing the holed walls.
When using the boxes instead of the usual mesh bags foe charcoal and bio, only fill the boxes 2/3 to 3/4 full. The material needs some room to move about. If the boxes are completely filled they will block water flow and your filter tank will overflow and your tank will gradually pump itself dry. Your fish may take offense to this.
Printed in PET-G on a X1C. The boxes print vertically, opening up. Filter carriage parts are printed in the natural flat orientation. 4-5 walls.
