I looked around for a wrench to tighten the plates on my dumbbells and and I only found one other maker who designed such a wrench. The problem with that design is that it only fits on the locking nut every 60 degrees. I remedied that following the design of a real wrench where I doubled the engagement positions, and I also added a hole on the other end of the wrench so that you can hang in on the bar if you wish to hang it.
