🛠 Recommended Print Settings

To achieve the striking contrast between the raw stone and the molten lava, I recommend the following approach:

• Material:

  • Option A (Dual/Multi-Color): Matte Charcoal/Dark Grey PLA for the stone body, and Translucent Orange/Neon Red PLA for the lava veins.

  • Option B (Single Color + Paint): Matte Black or Slate Grey PLA (then dry-brush the cracks with acrylic neon orange/yellow for that intense heat look).

• Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm (essential to capture the fine details of the stone cracks and smooth inner basin).

• Supports: Tree/organic supports are recommended only for the main overhangs or the bottom drain setup, depending on orientation.

• Infill: 10% - 15% (Gyroid).

• Perimeters / Walls: 3 (to ensure structural integrity around the deep textured cracks).
