The model consists of:
a white base with a top loop,
a yellow sun with rays,
black insert parts for the eyes and smile,
red insert parts for the cheeks.
The main part is printed as one object with a filament change: white first, then yellow.
Print settings
Recommended material: PLA
Suggested settings:
layer height: 0.20 mm
nozzle: 0.4 mm
infill: 15–25 %
supports: no
orientation: print flat on the bed
Printing the main part
The main part is printed as one object in two colors.
Start printing with white filament.
Add a filament change at approximately 3 mm height.
Change from white to yellow filament.
Continue printing the yellow sun and rays.
Check the exact layer for the color change in your slicer preview.
Assembly
Print the main part, black parts, and red cheeks.
Insert the eyes, smile, and cheeks into the prepared holes.
Check that all parts fit properly.
Glue the insert parts in place for a stronger hold.
Notes
Due to differences between printers, the insert parts may fit slightly tighter or looser.
If the parts are too tight, lightly clean the holes or sand the insert parts.
If the parts are too loose, use a small amount of glue.
This model contains small parts and is not suitable for small children without supervision.
