Flush-Mount Lamp Adapter Ring for In-Wall Junction Boxes (E27 Builder's Socket)

## What it is

A simple but useful adapter ring that screws into a standard flush-mounted in-wall junction box (Unterputzdose). The center hole holds the type of bare E27 "builder's" lampholder you often see on construction sites, and the ring turns that unfinished socket into a clean, finished-looking wall or ceiling lamp. No more naked bulb hanging out of a hole in the wall — just print, screw in, and you have a tidy light fixture.

## Why I made it

I had a bare construction-site bulb holder sitting in an in-wall box and wanted something cleaner without buying a whole fixture. So I designed this ring as a cheap, printable adapter that bridges the socket to the box.

## How to use

1. Mount your E27 lampholder as usual.

2. Screw the printed ring onto the flush wall box (mounting holes line up with the standard box screw positions).

3. Push the bulb / socket through the center opening. Done.

## Print settings -

Material:

PETG (recommended — better heat resistance than PLA).

Nozzle / layer:

printed at 0.6 mm nozzle, works fine at standard settings.

LED bulbs only.

Plastic parts near a hot incandescent or halogen bulb can soften or deform. LEDs stay cool and are safe with PETG/PLA.
