Did you notice that, when mounting your X-Force Vacuum Charging station to the wall, the vacuum hangs freely in the air? Using up a lot of free space?

In my case, it made it impossible to mount behind a door, even if hanging it high up.

Adding 8° of angle to the charging station, fixes all that.

So there is the fitting wedge, that accomplished just that.

Features

  • 8° angle. Just the right angle so your attachments at the end of the long pipe, touches the wall.

  • 11mm diameter holes to fit all your screws, even if the holes are not perfect

  • sized just like the original charging station

  • original tool holder must be mounted somewhere else. (see wall-mount-for-tool-holder-of-rowenta)

  • tested with Rowenta X-Force Flex 14.80 Vacuum

Printing

  • Material: PETG or PCTG or PC or GreenTecPro

  • part orientation: auto (lay flat so holes go straight up without angling)

  • Support: none needed

  • Brim: no

  • Top / Bottom Shell Layers: 2

  • Layer Height: <= 0.24mm

  • Infill: 10% aligned rectilinear

  • solid infill direction: 90°

  • sparse infill direction: 0°

  • Wall-Strength: at least 3 on 0.8mm. 4 on 0.6mm nozzle. 5 on 0.4mm nozzle.

Extending the power-cord

If the charger's cable turns out to be too short (as it was in my case) and you don't want to extend it the usual way with an extension cord:

You can also easily extend the DC cable (at your own risk):

  1. get yourself some single-wire WAGO connectors (4pcs)

  2. use a DMM to measure the DC-connector for polarity

  3. get a felt marker. Inspect your cable. See that it is actually composed of 2 wires. Choose a location to cut and mark ONE of the 2 wires.

  4. cut in the middle of your marking, so that, afterward, you can tell which cable needs to connect to which cable.

  5. extend with a 2-wire DC cable. Make absolutely sure you don't switch the polarity.

  6. verify the polarity with DMM
