Two Deck Boxed Playing Card Case (No Hardware)

I found the original model on another site via a Google search. I downloaded the files a long time ago before printing the model. I could not relocate the original box based solely on the file names. I just added "Boxed Cards" to the file names I had. The latches are identical. If someone knows who designed the original box, I will gladly attribute the model.

Most of the card boxes I have found either require hardware, are too small for my cards, or will not hold the cards in their original boxes. The box I downloaded was too small for the Crate Club cards I use, so I decided to increase the size to accommodate them. I like the graphics on the Crate Club card boxes, so I decided to make it large enough to hold them as well. I have tested the card box with a box of Paulson Casino cards, so I am sure the insert will hold other brands as well. The insert is large enough to hold the boxes without much free play, but will also allow the boxes to be removed by gravity. The insert fit snugly in the box I printed, so I also increased the box size by 1mm (X and Y), in hopes that it would allow the insert to be removed if you want. I have not tested that feature out yet.

The lid and latches snap together without hardware. I found it easier to slide the lid hinges up from the bottom of the box rather than snapping the top down or from the side. The latches snap into the lid from the top. The only issue I have noticed is the latches sometimes detach from the lid when opened. It may be because I used PLA Silk because that is what I has on hand in the color that I wanted. I added the text in my slicer (1mm height).
