It can be a real PITA to remove and install the switch bezel on a classic Ford.
My original switch came unconnected were the metal front meets the plastic back. I was able to remove it and order a new one but I knew when taking it out that there had to be a better way.
For a 65-66 Mustang I recommend removing the instrument panel screws and attack this from the instrument hole in the dash.
Use FreeCAD and imported the image of the Bezel to scale up to size and trace.
