I have a smartgateways water meter sensor, it has to be quite exactly on the right spot to detect the spinning wheel. This model keeps it in place on my particular meter (from Vitens, the model of the meter is (I think) KIWA Sensus 620).
You need to print it with supports. If you can print it using PETG as support material with PLA for the model (or vice versa), that could help get the support material off.
If the sensor is the same size as mine, it fits in the opening and should end up above the spinning wheel close enough to detect the spinning metal plate. Use some elastic bands to keep the sensor in place and you can fix the whole mount on the sensor with another strap of something.
