This is a replica of the butterfly nut used to secure the cymbal on the Roland TD-11KV electronic drum kit. It is also compatible with many other Roland electronic drum kits that use the same mounting system, making it a convenient replacement if the original part has been lost or damaged.
I designed this part from scratch in Fusion 360, carefully measuring the original component to ensure a snug fit and reliable performance. The goal was to create a functional replacement that is easy to print while maintaining the strength and durability needed for everyday use.
The model was printed on an Ender 3 V3 SE using black PLA+, which provides a good balance between rigidity, durability, and print quality. I recommend printing it upright with supports for a quick and straightforward print.
