Just in case you don't already understand, when using the Laser module, YOU are responsible for making sure the doors are closed as this does not add "Door open sensors"

Steps

1

Print all parts and tools

If you are going to install both sides for a total of 5 doors including the original front door I recommend only working on 1 side at a time.

2

Gather all hardware

3

If your enclosure is already assembled you will need to remove the 4 bolts from one side top of the posts front and back posts and carefully remove the side panels and divider bar

4

Assemble the hinge assemblies 4 for front side door 4 for back side door by adding the hinge to the main body of the hinge using the 8pcs =  M3x50mm bolts and inserting the 18pcs = M5x12mm bolts with T-nuts leaving the T-Nuts loose

The same process for both sides if you are doing all 4 doors, you might want to open the holes of the small hinge pieces to 3mm so the M3 bolt spins free in this part and then screws into the bigger hinge piece

5

The Center bar (4 pcs) needs to be assembled and glued if needed all 5 pieces of the center bar are labeled center 1, center 2, center 3….., the piece labeled center 5 gets installed during the bottom frame section, then add the 2pcs  3/4” round magnets to the recessed holes with the M3x16mm flathead bolts and nuts with washers, The Magnets need to be placed with the countersink in towards the bar not using the countersink for these Magnets, you will use the countersink for the Magnets that go on the doors so the polarity is correct

6

With everything now ready, lets start by taking 1 hinge side assembly and aligning the T-Nuts from the top of the correct enclosure post, be sure the T-Nuts engage the slot, I pull them away and tighten them to just slide in the channel then slide it all the way to the bottom and tighten making sure the T-Nuts stayed in the slot, then repeat for all hinges same for the front and back posts. Note:the 2 hinge sets and the bottom frame attach to the inside of the enclosure frame the top frame parts attach to the top of the enclosure

7

Next the bottom of the frame, there are 6 pieces plus the “center 5” piece, insert the T-Nuts 2 at a time and starting from an end, (piece with the corner) align and insert the M5x12 bolts again making sure the T-Nuts engage the slot, with the corner piece slide it over so the round frame aligns with the hinge round, then continue with the next 2 pcs each side leaving a gap in the center, this is where “Center 5” goes.

8

The top frame gets assembled basically the same as the bottom frame pieces (I used a ladder to reach the top) the “Center Bar” assembly should drop into the holes in the bottom rail part “Center 5” and hook on the top rail.

9

Now your doors need some prep, the edge with the cutouts top and bottom are the hinge side, the other 3 sides need 1-2 layers of blue painters tape or masking tape folded over the edges, this will help with alignment when drilling the holes for the hinges.

10

Now that both doors are properly taped up, set them in their proper sides, front and back (back has the cutout for filament pass through) make sure they are in place with the center bar and feel like they belong, LOL, now get a 3mm drill and drill through the hinge into the door holding everything in place, get help if you need it, after the holes are drilled or one at a time, this is up to you and your abilities, put an M3x20mm button head and a flat washer into the drilled hole from the inside pointing out and a flat washer and nut on the outside. If you don’t like the bolt end sticking out you probably could get an M3 acorn nut to cover the end.

After all holes are drilled and bolted you can remove the tape, your doors should swing open and closed very nicely

11

The handles I used are the last step, if using those handles get the drill jig and set it on the top corner open side of the door and drill a 4mm hole through both holes each door, if you are using a different handle the outermost hole should be use to align the magnet with the center bar magnet, get your 3/4 magnet and a M4x12mm flathead with the flathead going into the countersink of the magnet this time, insert this into the outermost hole to attach the handle, then with a M4x12mm button head and a flat washer attach the other side of the handle. Repeat

I hope this makes sense and thanks for using my Mod
