Replaced a large thermostat with the Ecobee unit. Instead of purchasing a base plate, designed my own. I designed this to be printed with the visible side down so that it has a nice texture when printed on a textured build plate. Could also print it on a smooth plate or any special plate of your choosing.
The back has a gentle curve so that the edges sit elevated off the wall just a little, similar to the Google Home trim plate. Print face down with a detail profile, .10 or .15 layer height.
Would also fit most thermostats with a 60mm vertical spacing on the screw holes
