My brother and me owned a 1/10th scale RC buggy. After a few years and multiple crashes the body of the buggy was done and different mechanical components would fail one after another. However, the gearbox and electrical components were fine. We got the idea to design a model of a tractor around the gearbox, differential and motor.
My uncle once owned a Zetor 6211 and I have driven it a few times so that was the model I was going to make. I downloaded several images of the tractor (without cab) to help with designing.
The original buggy was pretty fast so I needed a reduction. I have chosen a 1:3 reduction but in hindsight it was not enough. The tractor wheels are twice as big as the original buggy wheels so the total reduction is 1:1.5, which is way too fast. But still fun to play with.
