This is a cost-effective, two-part modular raiser designed to improve airflow under hot network gear and small-form-factor electronics. By elevating your hardware, it maximizes passive cooling to prevent thermal throttling and extend device lifespan.

To optimize print time, cost, and functionality, the design is split into a rigid PLA/PLA+ body and a non-slip TPU foot.

🛠 Design Features

  1. Dual-Material Efficiency: Uses rigid PLA+ for structural strength and flexible TPU for grip.

  2. Non-Slip & Vibration Dampening: The TPU feet print separately and attach via a precise friction fit—no screws or glue required.

  3. Highly Compatible: Perfect footprint size for Mini PCs (e.g., Beelink, Minisforum), network routers, and external hard disk enclosures.

  4. Open Source: Fusion 360 (.f3d) source file is included for easy resizing and remixing!

🖨 Recommended Print Settings

1. Main Body (PLA / PLA+)

  • Infill: 15% - 20% (Gyroid or Grid recommended for compressive load)

  • Wall Loops: 3 to 4 (Crucial for rigid structural support)

  • Top/Bottom Layers: 4

  • Supports: No supports needed (orient flat face to the bed) [1]

2. Feet (TPU - 95A Recommended)

  • Infill: 10% - 15%

  • Wall Loops: 2

  • Retraction: Disabled or minimized (to prevent flexible filament clogging)

  • Speed: Slow down to 20-30 mm/s depending on your extruder setup. [1]

🔧 Assembly Instructions

  1. Clean up any minor stringing inside the foot sockets on the PLA+ body.

  2. Press-fit the printed TPU feet into the bottom sockets.

  3. Note: The friction fit is designed to be tight. If your printer over-extrudes, a light tap with a mallet or a quick touch-up with a hobby knife will seat them perfectly.

  4. Place under your Mini PC, router, or HDD enclosure and enjoy better thermals!
