I was able to source a spring from my local Ace Hardware store however it was wider than the original design's intended spring.
This remix include a wider spring rod base so wider springs will catch and not partially go over the base.
The spring stop was adjusted so the round spring fits snuggly & centered in the round depression. A variety of sizes are provided for 15mm to 20mm diameter springs. It also has a directional notch indicating the side of the non-square stop that should point towards the front of the blaster when inserted.
My spring assembled fully extended was not strong enough, I had to assemble it partially compressed to achieve decent force, which meant putting the stop on under pressure.
Same as the original model, print them fully solid, so 5-8 walls and 100% infill
