This is a remix of leftyfb's remix of db's SmartThings Button (2018) mount {double remix!} to put back the screw holes. I could not use 3M tape where I needed to mount the button, so I put back the screw holes but kept the magnet pocket.
I did not have any 2.5mm x 12mm magnets on hand but managed to fit two 3mm x 6mm and used electrical tape to shield them from anything that may still be in the wall box. Be sure to orient the magnet polarity to align with the button. It works and looks great.
Printed in Black Polymaker ASA using the recommended Voron print settings for functional parts:
Layer height: 0.2mm
Extrusion width: 0.4mm, forced
Infill percentage: 40%. --> recommended for functional parts that are subject to regular use.
Infill type: gyroid or cubic --> cubic is much faster and the same strength as gyroid.
Wall count: 4
Solid top/bottom layers: 5
Supports: YES! I used Tree (Organic). See the picture for the way Orca oriented the model.
Brim: Yes. I used a 10mm brim with 0.05 spacing from the model.
Please see the included picture for the way the Orca Slicer auto-oriented the part. It came out great.
Thank you to db and leftyfb for their great work. Happy automating!
