Overview
Customizable 3D printed pool sinkie with flexible TPU leaves and adjustable ballast.
This customizable pool dive toy can be sized for different designs and uses removable US quarters to adjust its weight and sink rate.
Flexible TPU leaves sway underwater to mimic a small sea plant while the threaded base keeps the ballast contained.
Base version is for objects 25mm in diameter, perfect for US Quarters. Want a custom size? See the Customization Instructions below and use the free design generator on the Lunar Prototypes website. No logins, no subscription required, no secret email harvesting.
Adult assembly and supervision required. Inspect before each use and discard if damaged, as loose coins may present a choking hazard.

Instructions:
Measure the diameter and height of the items you plan to use as ballast, then customize the container to fit.
Slice and print the leaves in TPU.
Slice the container and add a pause immediately before the layer that bridges over the leaf loop.
At the pause, place the TPU leaves into the slot with the raised section facing down. Apply a thin layer of glue stick to hold them flat.
Resume the print and allow the bridge layers to secure the leaves.
Add the ballast, screw the lid closed, and test the Sinky in shallow water before use.
Adult assembly and supervision required. Inspect before each use and stop using it if any part becomes damaged or loose.
