The extractor cup on the topree pressfit BB extractor is made from aluminium rather than a softer material like the BSCTools version.
The metal cup bears against the frame around the pushfit cup when extracting it and there is a risk that it could marr the paint or damage the bike frame while pulling the cup.
This adapter sits between the cup and the frame and when printed in a softer flex material like TPU it minimises the risk of damage.
