A fully customizable storage tray for retro game cartridges, designed to neatly organize and protect your collection. An optional lid keeps everything dust-free during storage.
This model is fully parametric, allowing you to easily customize:
Cartridge dimensions (height, width, and thickness), making it suitable for loose cartridges or cartridges stored in protective cases.
The number of cartridge slots in the tray.
Slot separator dimensions, including their thickness, allowing support for cartridges with non-flat profiles such as Game Boy Advance cartridges (and their grip lip).
Printability
This model is made for FDM 3D printing:
No supports required.
Maximum overhang angle of 45°.
The optional lid should be printed upside down.

Download the Fusion 360 design file, open it, then go to Solid → Modify → Change Parameters to customize it.

Included presets
Because every dimension is parameterized, the tray can easily be adapted to other cartridge formats beyond the included Game Boy and Game Boy Advance presets.
The included print profile provides ready-to-print variants for:
Game Boy / Game Boy Color cartridges (with protective cases)
Game Boy Advance cartridges (with protective cases)
Loose Game Boy / Game Boy Color cartridges
Loose Game Boy Advance cartridges
An additional print profile is included for printing translucent PETG lids.
It follows Bambu Lab's recommended settings for translucent PLA/PETG to maximize transparency. Please note that the final result will vary depending on your printer, print settings, and filament. Proper filament drying is especially important for achieving the best transparency.
