Parametric Enclosed Under-Shelf Battery Holder Compatible with Greenworks 60V Batteries

A strong, fully enclosed under-shelf holder designed for Greenworks Pro 60 V batteries. Unlike common holders that engage only one rail on each side, this design engages both rails on each side—all four battery rails—for improved stability and load distribution.

The enclosed body helps prevent the side walls from spreading if the plastic becomes warm and prevents the battery from falling vertically through the holder. Access holes in the lower plate allow a screwdriver to reach the mounting screws.

The included Autodesk Fusion model is fully parametric. Battery clearances, rail dimensions, wall and plate thicknesses, mounting-hole positions and overall dimensions can all be adjusted. STL, STEP and editable Fusion files are provided.

The design was developed and test-fitted using the Greenworks Pro 60 V 4.0 Ah battery sold in Australia:

Compatibility with batteries of other capacities or regional designs has not yet been confirmed. Compare your battery’s dimensions before printing, or use the parametric Fusion model to make the required adjustments.

Recommended print settings:

• Material: ASA or another suitably heat-resistant filament

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm

• Layer height: 0.20 mm

• Walls: 5

• Top/bottom layers: 5

• Infill: 25% gyroid

• Supports: None

• Brim: 10 mm recommended

• Line width: 0.50 mm

The tested print used Overture ASA at 260°C with a 95°C bed. Adjust temperatures to suit your particular filament and printer.

Avoid ordinary PLA where the holder may be exposed to high temperatures, including garages, sheds, caravans or parked vehicles.
