During photo and video work, memory cards are easy to lose or damage when they are carried loose in a camera bag. I designed this case as a simple way to keep CFexpress Type B and SD cards organized, protected, and easy to access.
The case holds up to 6 CFexpress Type B cards and 6 SD cards. Each CFexpress Type B card has an SD card slot underneath, allowing the case to store 12 cards in total while keeping a compact size.
The cards fit securely inside the case and stay in place during transport. The integrated locking mechanism keeps the case closed when carried.
The design is fully print in place, with the hinge and locking mechanism printed together with the case. No supports or assembly are required.
The card slots were designed and tested for the following card dimensions:
CFexpress Type B
38.58 × 29.72 × 3.89 mm
SD Card
32 × 24 × 2.10 mm
Please check your own card dimensions before printing, as some manufacturers may have slightly different tolerances.
A STEP file is included for modifications.
(If I have some extra time, I may also redesign it to make the entire rectangular section containing the card slots removable and interchangeable. This would allow different slot modules to be swapped in and out, making the case more modular and customizable for different types of memory cards. Updated version:
