If you own the Wimo Tactical Mini telescopic mast, you’ve probably dealt with the question of how to set it up in the field. After a few attempts with tying it to things and using bungee cords, I ended up 3D‑printing a TPU holder and a ground spike.
The principle is the same as with model rockets:
push the spike into the ground and slide the mast over it.
The cap on the end of the spike is removable and only used during insertion — it prevents injuries.
The mast is lightweight and, surprisingly, holds very well.
Currently running a 40 m inverted‑V on it.
