Frog 52 Inner Chainring Guard / Chain Protector Replacement
Replacement inner chainring guard for Frog kids bicycles.
The original plastic guard was broken, so this part was recreated from the physical original component using a 2D scan, manual measurements and CAD modelling in Fusion 360.
The model was tested on a real Frog 52 bicycle and installed without modifications.
The guard helps to:
- prevent the chain from dropping inward towards the frame;
- protect clothing from contact with the chainring;
- restore the original function of the broken part.
The areas around the mounting holes were reinforced compared to the original part for improved durability.
Please note:
This is a reverse-engineered replacement part created from a physical sample. Some external contours and fillets were manually reconstructed, so minor geometric differences from the original part may exist. These differences do not affect the fit or function of the tested model.
Designed and tested for Frog 52. It may also fit other Frog models using the same crankset and chainring mounting pattern. Please verify dimensions before printing.
