Overview

Precision reloading requires absolute setup repeatability, but die lock rings and lock nuts often loosen or bind when using standard metal tools. This 3D-printable dual-head reloading wrench features two perfectly sized openings: one dedicated to standard die lock rings (7/8"-14 thread dies) and the other tailored for lock nuts (e.g., press or die bushings). Printed in solid plastic, it applies optimal torque to lock down your settings without scratching, gouging, or marring the finish of your high-end dies and reloading press components.

Why use this?

  • Zero Marring: Keeps your expensive reloading dies, lock rings, and aluminum press bushings free from scratches and burrs left by steel wrenches.

  • Dual-Head Ergonomics: One compact tool handles both standard lock rings and lock nuts, streamlining your bench workflow when swapping calibers.

  • High-Torque Grip: Designed with balanced leverage to tighten nuts securely without risk of over-torquing or damaging die threads.

  • Bench Essential: Lightweight, bright-colored printable design makes it easy to locate on a crowded reloading bench or store on a pegboard.

Technical Specifications & Printing

  • Material: PETG or PLA+ / Tough PLA recommended for high layer adhesion and mechanical strength. Carbon Fiber PETG/PLA is ideal for maximum rigidity.

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm or 0.16mm for accurate tolerances on the wrench hex/ring contours.

  • Walls/Perimeters: 4 to 5 wall loops to handle high torsional strain without flexing or breaking.

  • Infill: 40% to 50% (Gyroid or Cubic) for maximum structural integrity under pressure.

  • Top/Bottom Layers: 4 solid top and bottom layers.

How to Use

  • Slide the appropriate wrench head over your reloading die lock ring or press bushing nut.

  • Apply smooth, firm pressure to tighten or release the nut without sudden jerking motions.

  • Store on your bench or tool rack alongside your die sets for quick caliber changeovers.
