My original Compaq hard drive mounting frame was missing, so I reverse-engineered and recreated a replacement. This frame allows a standard hard drive to be mounted using the original Compaq mounting system. Tested successfully in my own Compaq restoration project and optimized for reliable FDM 3D printing.
AI assistance was used for OpenSCAD coding and design iterations.
All measurements, testing, fitting, and final model adjustments were performed manually.
