A 3D-printable shallow honey super foundation (5-5/8") designed to fit standard wooden frames. It can be printed on standard bed sizes and assembled into a full-sized foundation. Use it raw or brush on a thin layer of melted beeswax to encourage faster comb build-out.
Tip: For best results, build or assemble your wooden frame around the foundation rather than forcing/squeezing it into an already assembled frame.
Print Settings:
0.2mm SPEED (Recommended) (PrusaSlicer)
PETG or temperature/chemical resistant filament
Included Files:
Pre-divided Parts: Split into sections to fit standard print beds.
Full-length Model: Single uncut part for larger print beds or custom slicing.
Materials needed:
PETG Gloop or solvent-based plastic adhesive
Beeswax (optional)
Assembly Instructions:
Clean up any brim or flash on the printed edges.
Match the lettered alignment marks along the connecting edges.
Apply adhesive evenly to the "A" joint faces and press the matching sections together, moving sequentially from one side to the other.
Once fully cured, brush with beeswax (optional) and install into your shallow super frame.
