A practical clamp-on hook designed for hanging bags, backpacks or other items from the edge of a desk or table.
The hook is attached using a printed screw clamp, so there is no need to drill holes or permanently modify the desk.
Two different screw lengths are included, allowing the holder to be used with different desk thicknesses:
Short screw: suitable for desk tops approximately 33–50 mm thick
Long screw: suitable for desk tops approximately 15–50 mm thick
When using the included 2 mm thick pressure pad, the approximate ranges are:
Short screw: 31–48 mm
Long screw: 13–48 mm
The short screw is useful for thicker desk tops because it prevents the screw from sticking out more than necessary. In the photos, the short screw is used on a 36 mm thick desk top.
A separate pressure pad is included to increase the contact area between the screw and the desk. I added foam tape to the pad to improve grip, reduce slipping and help protect the desk surface from pressure marks or scratches.

With these settings, the holder is very sturdy in my use.
