Demon Core Lamp Kit 001

Flathead Screwdriver Not Included.

This is a "Demon Core" model designed to have the "core" piece matching the Demon Core's actual 89mm dimensions. The hemispheres are not to scale, for the sake of filament and printbed size. 

The upper hemisphere is designed to friction-fit around an M3x18 to M3x20 screw, and will hold up on it's own, so you can position it however you like.  If you have issues with this, please let me know and I'll try to help troubleshoot. I did a lot of testing with different filaments to make sure it would work reliably.

Print Settings:

Walls: 3 walls.
Infill: 15%
Supports: Necessary for the Core and Upper Hemisphere. 
Filament: PLA or PETG. I've confirmed both PLA and PETG cores will fit in a PLA lower-sphere piece. 

I do not recommend clear-PETG.  I've done what I can to design for using it, but it's a pain. 
White PLA should work just fine. 

*2 walls are sufficient in most places except for around the hinge. I personally recommend using a modifier to adjust the infill to 20% and 3 Walls around the hinge for both the upper and lower hemispheres, and then using 2 walls and 10% infill everywhere else.

Hardware:

M3x18 Screw, or

M3x20 Screw and M3 Nut

Lamp Kit 001 (i.e. from Bambu Labs, or any number of copycat versions)

No glue required! 

Assembly Guidance

1. Use an M3 screw and allen-key to clear out any filament stringing in the screw-holes at the back of the Upper Hemisphere and Lower Hemisphere. 

2. Use the M3 screw to affix the Upper Hemisphere to the Lower Hemisphere.

3. Insert the Lamp Kit light from the bottom and rest it in the recess.

4. Insert the Demon Core hemisphere over the top through the channel. 

5. Enjoy your new lamp!
