Waveshare ESP32-S3 4.3" Display Case
A custom-designed case for the Waveshare ESP32-S3 4.3" display, designed to give the display a clean, finished look while keeping it secure and easy to use.
Features
Snug fit: The case securely holds the Waveshare display with a snug, clean fit.
Even bezel: The original display has an uneven bezel around the screen. This case helps even out the bezel, giving the finished display a much cleaner and more uniform appearance.
Top-access reboot button: The ESP32-S3 reboot button is accessible from the top of the case, so you can reboot the device without taking it apart.
Top ventilation: Vent slots were added to the top to improve airflow and help with cooling the ESP32-S3.
Wall mountable: Mounting holes are built into the back of the case for easy installation using a screw or nail.
Freestanding design: The back also includes an integrated stand/leg, allowing the display to sit upright on a desk, shelf, counter, or other flat surface.
Two mounting options: Use it as a wall-mounted display or a freestanding desktop display depending on your setup.
Clean, minimal design: Designed to keep the display looking tidy while maintaining access to the important controls and features.
Design
I designed this case specifically around the Waveshare ESP32-S3 4.3" display. The goal was to improve the overall appearance of the display while adding some practical features for everyday use.
The front frame compensates for the uneven bezel of the original display, while the rear incorporates both mounting holes and a fold-out/integrated support leg.

Printing
The case is designed for standard FDM 3D printing and should work well with materials such as PLA or PETG.
Because the display fit is intentionally snug, printer calibration and material shrinkage can affect the final fit. If your printer tends to produce tight dimensions, a small tolerance adjustment may be helpful.
Mounting Options
Wall mounted: Use the mounting hole on the back with a suitable screw or nail.
Desktop: Use the integrated rear leg to stand the display upright on a flat surface.
