Allows use of an old light stand as a microphone boom arm. Make sure that the light stand is unplugged before usage, and use a nonconductive filament.
I created this to get the microphone closer to my mouth for better audio quality during interviews.
I recommend greasing the microphone threads with some oil before usage to prevent excessive wear. Easiest installation is to screw it on the microphone, then screw into the stand.
