Helmet clip is intended to attach to a helmet with 3M VHB tape or simlar. Recommend ABS, ASA, or Polycarb so the part is both tough and has a strong bond to the VHB tape.
This design is tested to fix the HM55R and Remix. It appears that other headlamps from these manfacturers use the same base and should also fit without CAD updates.
A headlamp strap can be used but is not nessesary. The detent feature should be removed if a strap is utilized.
The Onshape model can be adjusted by an experienced CAD user to better fit a veriety of helmets using he "Dome" and "Arc" radius dimension permameters. "Dome" is the helmet radius along a virtual plane bisecting the helmet from front to back. "Arc" is the helmet radius on a plane bisecting the headlamp mount from side to side. It's easy measure the radius by making a paper or cardboard template on the two planes.
