A simple and customizable awareness ribbon pin, with a subtle 3D effect.
It can be used to show support and raise awareness for many different causes. Simply print it in the color associated with the cause you want to support.
This model is fully parametric, allowing you to easily customize:
The proportions of the loop and tails
The crossing and tail angles
The thickness of the different parts of the ribbon
The model is printed flat and only requires a standard pin post and clutch to turn it into a wearable pin.

Each pin consists of:
1 printed ribbon
1 pin post/back
1 pin clutch
Assembly is very simple, you only need to glue the pin post to the center of the back of the printed part. Let the glue dry and add the pin clutch.
Make sure the surfaces are clean before gluing, and avoid using too much glue as it may spread around the pin post.

Download the Fusion 360 design file, open it, then go to Solid → Modify → Change Parameters to customize it.

Printing recommendations
Use a 0.2 mm or 0.4 mm nozzle with the Arachne wall generator enabled in your slicer for the best results.
Use a low layer height, such as 0.08 mm or 0.12mm.
If you experience adhesion issues, make sure your build plate is thoroughly cleaned.
