Hey everyone!
This is the companion piece to my other remix. These are NFC/RFID tag holders designed to integrate perfectly with my Snapmaker U1 mounts or directly onto your filament dryboxes.
Just like my previous upload, I am still a beginner and clumsily cobbled these together in Orca Slicer – but they work perfectly for my setup, and I hope they help organize yours, too!
The Font Choice: For the text on the material-specific tags, I used JetBrains Mono. It has a slightly playful, yet super clean and highly legible look. It's actually my absolute favorite text console font, which is exactly why I had to use it for this project!
Available Files: Currently, there are two versions available:
nfc_tag_notext.stl– A clean, blank version for your own custom labels.nfc_tag_text_pla.stl– A version with "PLA" embedded on the top.nfc_tag_text_petg.stl– A version with "PLA" embedded on the top.nfc_tag_text_tpu.stl– A version with "PLA" embedded on the top.nfc_tag_text_asa.stl– A version with "PLA" embedded on the top.nfc_tag_text_abs.stl– A version with "PLA" embedded on the top.
Note: I will be uploading more material variants (PETG, ASA, ABS, etc.) very soon!
A Cool Tip for Printing: I highly recommend printing these tags using the actual material they are meant to label! For example, print the PLA tag using the specific PLA spool it belongs to, and do the same once the PETG or ASA versions are out. This way, the tag doubles as a direct, tactile sample (swatch) of how that specific filament looks and feels when printed!
Print Settings & Recommendations:
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Supports: Yes, I recommend enabling supports for the best result.
Let me know what you think, and keep an eye out for the upcoming material variants!
Happy printing!
