Add a 3.5" HDD to your dell optiplex.
You will need:
1x SATA Extension like this
1x USB PD trigger set to 12V - The optiplex only provides 5v to the HDD
Optional: USB PD adapter for the optiplex - so you can use one USB C brick for both HDD and the PC
2x M3x6mm screws to fix the extension to the frame
VHB tape to stick the optiplex to the frame
Screws and springs for the HDD tray:
2x M3 socket-head cap screws, 4-12mm
2x M3 screws, any head, 5mm
1x M2x20 screw
1x compression spring, 3mm OD, 10-15mm length
1x compression spring, 8-10mm OD, 20-30mm length
Instructions:
print all provided files in something temperature resistant
assemble the hdd tray (detailed instructions in the source model here)
connect all cables
stick the pc to the case with VHB tape
Also included STEP+F3D files for further modifications
