Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro Dual-Position Lid Riser & Vent Clip
A minimalist, tool-free lid riser clip designed specifically for the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro (AD5M Pro).
Printing PLA, TPU, or PETG inside a fully enclosed printer can quickly cause chamber temperatures to rise, leading to heat creep, extruder clicking, and nozzle clogs. This low-profile clip mounts directly onto the top rim recess to provide quick, adjustable ventilation without needing bulky full-frame riser prints.

Dual-Position Convenience (Zero-Removal Workflow):
Raised / Vented Position: Props the top lid open by ~30–40 mm to allow hot air to vent naturally during PLA/PETG jobs.
Lower / Closed Position: Holds or rests the lid down flush for printing ABS/ASA without having to unclip or store the riser.
Integrated Spring Snap Fit: Features a built-in compliant retention tab at the base that firmly grips the printer's top plastic bezel channel without scratching or wobbling.
Fast & Lightweight: Unlike huge 4-corner riser frames that take hours to print and use hundreds of grams of plastic, this compact clip prints in minutes with minimal filament.
No Hardware / Non-Destructive: Simply presses into the existing edge channel—no screws, magnets, or glue required.
Print Settings & Recommendations
Orientation: Print flat on its side face on a textured PEI plate for maximum layer bonding along the clip arms and a clean surface finish.
Filament Choice:
Any of your choice.
Layer Height:
0.20 mm.Walls / Perimeters: 2 walls
Infill: No need more than 10% (Gyroid is good).
Supports: None required! The model is optimized to bridge cleanly when laid flat on its side.
Multi-Color Accents: Add a color swap on the top and bottom perimeter layers to give it a clean accent border (as seen in the photos).
How to Use
Align the bottom retention foot into the top frame recess on either side of the printer bezel and press down firmly until the retention clip clicks into place.
For high-temp chamber prints (ABS/ASA/Nylon), rest the lid in the lower slot.
For PLA/PETG prints, lift the front/side edge of the lid and rest it onto the upper shelf hook to ventilate the chamber.
