My children asked me to turn a pringles can into a toy bazooka gun and just wanted some handles for it. So naturally I took it more literally to making them a toy that could shoot paper or foam balls.
Materials list:
PLA or similar material for 3D printing
4 x elastic rubber bands
4 x m3x12 screws
1 x 12 inch or 30cm string, paracord or similar. You can use a longer one, length of the can is about the minimum length I would use.
1 x Hot glue gun to attach the elastic holder part as well as the hand grip
Somethign to punch a hole in the can to allow the string through.
Grip is optional.
String pull handle is optional.
For the elastic bands, short thick ones will have more power, I tested with longer elastic bands and it was no good. Just test your elastic bands by streching them to the length of the pringles can, if you can easily stretch them that long maybe get smaller or thicker ones.
For the pull handle I recommend using this model:
