Modular Printable Pegboard Wall System [UPDATE 1.11.]

This model is a complete 3D printable pegboard system designed for everyday practical use. The board is similar to IKEA Skadis and the accessories should be compatible. The board panels feature shaped edges that fit together precisely, allowing multiple pieces to connect seamlessly without losing any usable holes. The interlocking geometry ensures panels stay aligned and stable during use, while maintaining every pegboard opening available for hooks and accessories. You can build a larger continuous pegboard surface by simply connecting compatible panels side by side.

Mounting with this system will always ensure that the board is perfecty leveled.

Advantage of these pieces is that you have space to adjust the position of the mounts (for example, when you want to use an existing hole in wall, or if you just create a new hole which is not perfectly centered).

1. Enforced mount spacer - it is made for a screw with a 6 mm diameter. You have the possibility to have a precisely centered spacer, or a spacer with the hole at the top or bottom of the hole in the board. Spacing between the board and the wall is 20 mm. From the front of the board, you will use a flat-head screw cap.

   

2. Clicked-in system - You simply first mount the holders to a wall. Each holder has an elongated hole, so you can adjust its position to fit the holes in the board perfectly. Then you click in the board and use counter plugs to keep it fixed in place.
   A surprising advantage of this mounting system is that when you use two pieces, your board will be mounted perfectly horizontally.
   For a screw with a countersunk head, you also print a countersunk screw cap.

   

   

   

   

Note: The click-in system works great for accessories such as hooks, shelves, and holders. However, a board with all its accessories can become very heavy. For mounting the board itself, I recommend not relying only on click-in holders. Always use at least one screw that goes all the way through the board—for example, with an Enforced Mount Spacer.

UPDATE 6.10.

Added enforced connectors that are plugged from the back of the plates and connect them together. On the front side, there are also counter plugs that secure the connector in place and hide the hole to create a more seamless and smooth surface.

Description

The system includes all necessary connectors to join individual panels together. Smaller boards can be securely attached to larger ones using these integrated connectors, eliminating the need to drill and mount each piece separately into the wall. This makes installation faster and more flexible, allowing you to customize your pegboard layout without additional hardware.

All necessary parts in one place.

The set also includes a dedicated wall mount designed to fit precisely into one of the board openings and be secured with a screw through the center. To control the distance from the wall, spacers in 10 mm, 20 mm, and 30 mm sizes are included as well. This makes the whole system fully printable and complete, without needing any additional purchased parts.

It is suitable for organizing tools, hobby supplies, electronics, office items, 3D printing accessories, and many other everyday objects.

Three panel sizes are provided:

• Full Core One size 240 x 213 mm

• medium size 160 x 175 mm

• half size 160 x 93 mm

• quarter size 80 x 93 mm

This makes the system easy to scale for small or large setups depending on your needs.

Designed with precision but with tolerances

• Each piece has a 0.1 mm tolerance incorporated into its dimensions.

• A part that is 80 mm wide has a dimension of 79.9 mm.

• A part that is 160 mm wide has a dimension of 159.9 mm.

• And so on.

This should safely cover all imperfections of 3D printing and ensure that the parts always fit together perfectly.
