The original Ultimount is designed for the IKEA Skadis, whose board is about 5 mm thick. On a thin metal pegboard (1–2 mm), the hooks sit loose, wobble, or drop out. This remix narrows the gap between the hook and the back plate so it clamps onto thinner boards. I use it on a metal pegboard with the same hole spacing as the Skadis but without the staggered ovals.
