Cable Support Assembly
CAD modeling of a mechanical support with a roller for guiding cables;
Visão geral
The cable support assembly is a mechanical assembly composed of a structural body, a roller, and a central pin. The body supports the roller, which rotates around the pin to guide cables.
The design was developed from a technical drawing, using CAD modeling to represent the components and their assembly.

Components
Structural Body
Features a base with four mounting holes, two "ears" to support the axle, and structural reinforcements.
Base: 174 x 46 mm
Approximate thickness: 14 mm
Mounting holes: 4 x 10 mm
Axle holes: 14 mm

Roller
Rotating component that guides the cable through channels.
Approximate outer diameter: 56 mm
Center hole: 14 mm
Width: 26 mm

Pino central
It passes through the body and the roller, functioning as an axis of rotation.
Nominal diameter: 14mm
Length: 70mm
End chamfers: 2 x 45°

Modeling and assembly
The process basically consists of:
Interpret the views and cons of the drawing
Model the body, roller, and pin
Assemble the components aligned with the holes aligned (otherwise you won't be able to assemble it lol)
Check for clearances, interferences, and roller rotation
Verify the main dimensions

Manufacturing and limitations
The model can be prepared for 3D printing using materials such as PLA or PETG. For greater strength, I strongly recommend using a metal pin instead of printing it.
Before manufacturing or use, tolerances, materials, pin retention, and overall strength must be checked.
Final conclusion
The project represents a mechanical support with a roller for cable guiding, developed from a technical drawing. It allowed me to practice some concepts of CAD modeling, mechanical assembly, and factory preparation.
