A bat for your coffee break. Wide wings, pointed ears and shallow wing details surround a circular landing that accommodates cup bases up to 84 mm in diameter.
How to use
Place the coaster flat under a mug with a base up to 84 mm in diameter. Add a thin cork or felt backing for grip and surface protection. Choose a suitable heat-resistant material for hot cups.
Included file: midnight_bat.stl, supplied in millimeters.
Size: 172 × 102 × 4 mm.
Suggested print settings:
• PLA or PETG
• 0.20 mm layer height
• 4 walls
• 20% infill
• No supports intended
Print flat with the wing details facing up. The coaster is 4 mm thick; the decorative grooves are 0.6 mm deep. Add a thin cork or felt pad underneath for grip and surface protection. PLA can soften under very hot cups, so choose a suitable heat-resistant material for hot-drink use.
These are starting settings, not a tested printer profile. Check the sliced preview for your printer before printing, especially if you change the size. This prototype has passed digital mesh checks but has not been physically test printed.
