Slide, tilt, and type!
Slide Typing Aid is an adaptive typing aid designed for the Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard. It allows users to navigate across the keyboard using arm movements and press keys by rotating their wrist or shifting their palm's weight.
The design features a palm rest mounted on a two-axis sliding mechanism with wheels, allowing smooth movement in both horizontal and vertical directions above the keyboard.
How It Works
Rest your palm on the platform.
Move the platform across the keyboard using your arm movements to position it over the desired key.
Rotate your wrist or shift your palm's weight to tilt the platform and press the key beneath it.
This mechanism is designed to make typing more accessible for people who have difficulty moving their fingers independently, allowing them to use larger arm and wrist movements instead.
Tips
