spring loaded pcb holder ball point pen spring

This is a pcb holder attachent for the really nice model adjustable pcb holdertool. 

the only problem i had with it was that you had to squeeze the pcb really hard every time to get it to sit right. Also that made it hard to screw it down at the base so i made this. 

The spring loaded holder fits right into the already printed version but just here it uses springs form a ball point pen so everyone can make it really cheaply and easy. 
 

The nice thing now is that it puts constant pressure on the pcb so it always sits tight in there.

Here is how to assemble it: 

first you take the “gripper” and put it in the “main” so the dots on the back of the gripper touch the dots on the front of the main peice. then you take the lock peice and squeeze it down the square hole in the top so it alligns with the threads. This might take a little effort since its a pressure fit. Then you take out the old gripper and screw from your adjustable pcn holder and put the new one on with the screw part that followed with. If you need some virsual help look at the photos attached! it should be pretty intuitive how it fits together. then lastly on the dots on the front of the “main” and the back of the gripper you take your ball point pen spring and cut it in half. Then put one end of the spring on the dot on the back of the gipper and the other on the dot on the front of the “main” do that on both sides and there you have it! dont mid this might be a little hard.
