Purpose
I installed 3 intake fans at the bottom of my Lian Li Dan A3 Case and no longer had anywhere to put my HDD so I decided to make something to fit it to the front of my case.
Note: I believe this only will work with SFX PSU with the bracket installed in the highest position. I have not tested with an ATX PSU.
Printing
I recommend using PETG or PETG ESD (I used ESUN PETG ESD) and printing in the orientation I have in the attached 3mf for good strength on the hooks etc.
Assembly
Warning!
Do not overtighten the screws
Be careful removing the supports as the parts are more delicate on their own. Once it is assembled with the HDD it will be strong.
It is designed to be put together with 4x stepped screws that are included with the A3. They are normally used to mount you SSD/HDD to the case with the rubber grommets but you do not need the grommets for this.
I recommend screwing the HDD to the two horizontal beams first and then attaching the uprights pieces. This should reduce the chance of damaging any of the thin parts during assembly.
Once assembled with HDD slide it into place from in front of the case and click the locking tabs in place to prevent it shifting back upward.
