Simple spacer washer, M3 size.
On the Ender Extender, I needed to space the Y limit switch away from the adapter bracket that was provided due to the through-hole solder blobs clashing with the bracket. Two of these on each screw solved that.
For mounting an ADXL345 accelerometer, these also work well, so the board is not touching anything directly that could cause a short circuit.
