Game cartridges of Nintendo Switch are small. I misplaced them from time to time. Hence, this project is developed.
The objective of this project is to design an easy to use storage device. Among all form factors, I choose the form of a can. Cartridges are inserted into the can and rotated to a close position for storing. Retrieval is easy, too. Just simply rotate the can to show the cartridge needed. There is a cam in the center of the can. By rotating the cam, that cartridges are raised when they are near the opening of the can. Similarly, the cartridges are lowered into storage positions when they are not near the opening.
To suit the users' needs, three versions of the storage can were developed, i.e. small, medium and large. The cans are able to store 17, 34 and 51 cartridges for the small, medium and large cans, respectively.
The STL files of the cans are attached for users to slice GCODE files according to their needs. For easy reference, sample GCODE files are also attached.
