Overview

These mini clamps make great chip bag clips and can also be replacements for the clips or twist-ties that come on other food items, like bread bags.  They take up very little space, with the original version measuring about 1.8 inches long when assembled.

Note: I added some more supports to the model after taking the pictures so prints with the new g-code should turn out smoother.

Printing

I printed using PLA on the Prusa i3 MK3.  I included g-code and the original STL files for the original clamp assembly, which includes the clamp frame and screw.  There are also files for printing an extra long screw, which I recommend using if you have any trouble clipping bags with the original version.

If you do re-slice the STLs, I recommend printing the screw with the knob flat on the print surface and without supports.  I also recommend printing the frame with its long side on the print bed, similar to what's shown in the g-code.  Lastly, I don't recommend using any support material on the threads since they can print without them and still mesh well in the end.
