This is a simple adapter for cameras, gimbles and other devices which use the ¼ inch withworth thread as attachment point. The bigger thread is 3/8 inch which is commonly used in Europe for microphones.
Versions
I included three versions: the original version, a version with bigger handwheel for tightening and a version with intentionally too long threads for adaptation for different thread lengths. You can easily change their length with the cutting command in prusaslicer.
Printing
This part is an easy and quick print and requires no support structures. Adhesive or a brim might be needed, in my case however it stuck perfectly on the Prusa smooth PEI sheet.
For the strongest result reduce printing speed (20-30 mm/s) and turn the cooling fan down to about 20-30%! I managed the best results with a 0.6 mm Nozzle and a layer height of 0.15 mm with PETG and a shell count as high as needed for a solid part (20 to be safe). However, a standard nozzle (0.4 mm) works fine too.
Disclaimer
This part is not nearly as strong as metal adapters. I strongly advise not using it with expensive equipment or in highly dynamic applications. Also be careful when tightening down.
