A mount to hold a BigTreeTech Smart Sensor on the stepper motor for a Micro Swiss Direct Drive on Ender 3 etc.
I had tried a few mounting options for the Smart Sensor, but none would fit the BTT 33mm stepper I use on the Micro Swiss Direct Drive setup I run.
I remixed a remix and ended up with this.
The original model is here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4683117

I changed the part that holds the sensor and added some holes to reduce material usage, reduce weight and allow the stepper to dissipate some heat. I also changed the area underneath the stepper to clear the X gantry wheels.
The stepper I used is Biqu model number 17HD34011-22B. Found here: https://biqu.equipment/en-au/collections/stepper-motor-board/products/nema17-c42-motor-cnc-stepper-motor-length-33mm-stepping-motor-1-33a-for-3d-printer-for-cnc-xyz
Added a version with strain relief.
It's not perfect, but it works for me.
Print in the orientation that it loads. The only place I needed supports was inside the sensor part and where the wheels are. The holes will print fine without support.
I used PETG. PLA may work, but you might have to remove the stepper to mount it or the legs that hold it on the stepper may break. Also PLA may not handle the heat from the stepper.
