Features

• 5 x 0.4mm prong tool for easy grind de-clumping and raking.
• Compact ergonomic handle, measuring just 15mm wide and 29mm long when assembled.
• Two-piece screw together design to make it easy to install and replace prongs as required.
• 2.7mm slot along the top to attach accessories like magnetic straps.
• Detailed knurling for better grip.
• Offset centre pin to ensure all prongs sit at the same level.

Printing

Critical settings

• Print with threads facing up on the build plate.
• Ensure z seam placement does not overlap with a hole as this can cause them to close up.

For best surface finish

• A layer height of 0.1 (pictured) or lower. For lower heights it's best to set up your slicer to print the exposed threads at 0.1-0.2 for better durability.
• Enable 'one at a time' in your slicer, then move parts apart to avoid extruder carriage collision. This setting will reduce stringing and other surface defects caused by travel and/or retractions.

• 15%-18% infill

Sourcing prongs

• The prongs pictured are 3D printer nozzle cleaning pins. Dimensions are 0.4mm for the diameter and ~34mm for the length of the pin portion. Pin handle is 40mm long, bringing the total length to 74mm.
• LEOWAY brand was used and tested successfully.

• Dull the pin tips with a whetstone. This is important to avoid injury when using the completed WDT tool. Wear appropriate safety equipment while handling the pins.
• If the handle thread is tight, unscrew/screw a few times to loosen it up.
• If the pinholes are too tight, safely heating the pins can help.
